(1967/68) Featuring the legendary original and successful 60s line-up of Ronnie Drew, Luke Kelly, Barney McKenna, Ciar n Bourke and John Sheahan. Includes the Dubliners hits & popular favourites: Seven Drunken Nights, The Black Velvet Band, Maids When You're Young Never Wed An Old Man, I'm A Rover, Whiskey In The Jar, Seven Deadly Sins, Dirty Old Town. In 1987 The Dubliners teamed up with The Pogues and their single of 'The Irish Rover' gave them another UK Top 10 single almost 20 years after their last chart hit. The Dubliners are respected as pioneers by Irish stars such as Van Morrison and U2 and were the first Irish folk act to reach the Top 10 of the UK charts.
