2009 CD EP from the New Zealand Dub/Roots/Reggae act. Freak Local is a selection of mixes of tracks taken from their seventh album proper, released in October of 2009. The EP features vocal contributions from the amazing Tuhoe diva Whirimako Black and MC madness from our Aotearoa Celtic Rasta The Mighty Asterix. All mixed fresh for your ears from the bands Hapuku studio in Kaikoura. 'Freak Local' is an anthem to New Zealand's individuals, who refuse to conform. Every Village, town and city has them.
